About Quinn

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Cat
  • General Color: White
  • Housetrained: Yes
How to begin to describe the beautiful soul housed in this fur package with mere words? Quinn is a gentle giant who craves a human to bond with. He is playful, affectionate and loves a good rub of his chubby cheeks. He is also an excellent "flopper" and is often found spread-eagled on his back, purring as you stroke his plush white belly. Quinn is being fostered with other cats and co-exists well; he is a lover and with his large size, he has nothing to prove! Quinn loves to talk and he's always up for a little conversation. Got a problem? He is here to sympathize and give advice! Plus, he gives the BEST kisses to make you feel all better. He is comfort food in feline form and this deliciously SUPER sweet boy is calling your name!! Quinn is FIV+ and a lesson in kindness and acceptance. FIV is a cat-only disease and cannot be spread to humans or other non-felines. It is a slow virus that affects a cat's immune system over a period of years and most FIV+ cats live long, healthy, normal lives with few or no symptoms. A neutered cat in a home is extremely unlikely to infect other cats, if properly introduced. The virus can be spread through blood transfusions, badly infected gums or serious, penetrating bite wounds. FIV+ cats should be kept as healthy as possible by keeping them indoors and feeding a high-quality diet. Here is an informative article about FIV in cats: http://www.v63.net/catsanctuary/vet_question.html Quinn has many, many years of love to share and he would be so grateful to be accepted and adored for who he is, FIV and all. What a great lesson to teach children - that we all deserve love and kindness, despite whatever hard knocks life has thrown our way! Won't you consider opening your heart and home to this beautiful creature who is overflowing with unconditional love? Quinn has been tested, vaccinated and neutered. His adoption fee is $75. He is approximately 3 years old. If you would like to learn more about Quinn, please email Jill Spencer at jillk1969@gmail.com for an adoption application. Thank you for your interest in adopting a rescued cat!
